We’re currently seeking a motivated Procurement Specialist to join a collaborative and high-performing team on a short-term basis. This support-focused role will provide day-to-day assistance across a range of procurement activities to help ensure smooth delivery of sourcing initiatives and contract management processes.
In this role, you’ll contribute to a wide variety of procurement-related tasks, primarily supporting lower-risk and lower-value engagements. You'll assist in coordinating procurement activities, developing documentation, providing guidance to stakeholders, and helping to ensure compliance with internal policies and public sector frameworks.
Assist with planning and supporting procurement activity.
Provide general procurement advice to internal teams on standard processes, templates, and procedures.
Help prepare procurement documentation including tender forms, evaluation tools, and contract drafts.
Support the running of open and closed tender processes, including coordination through GETS.
Liaise with suppliers to manage timelines and responses during the tender process.
Assist with evaluations and summarising outcomes in draft reports and recommendations.
Maintain records of contracts and procurement activity in the relevant systems.
Support reporting and tracking of procurement activity to internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with the broader team to contribute to procurement process improvements and ensure consistency in documentation.
Experience working in a procurement, commercial or contracts-related environment.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable working with templates, documents, and digital procurement tools.
Familiarity with public sector procurement practices and GETS is a bonus
